Bodrum Beauties: New Constructions

Currently, amidst the bustling boatyards and skilled artisans, two notable examples showcase the town's expertise and innovation in the field. These ambitious projects are testament to Bodrum's dedication to preserving its nautical legacy while pushing the boundaries of marine craftsmanship and technology.
ADA 50 Z built by Ada Yacht Works
Construction has begun on the second hull of the 50Z yacht series by Ada Yacht Works. Known as NB102, the superyacht was sold by Aqua Marina Yacht and is currently being built at a shipyard in Bodrum. Like its predecessor, hull one, which started construction in February 2023, the exterior design of both hulls was done by Uldas Yacht Design. Luca Dini Design & Architecture contributed to the interior styling, which can accommodate 12 guests in six staterooms. Additionally, the yacht has accommodations for 10 crew members, including the captain. NB102 also has two owner's staterooms, one with a private balcony, Jacuzzi, and oversized windows on the main deck forward. The second owner's suite, on the upper deck aft, has a private terrace with loungers, a Jacuzzi, and a well-equipped bar. The contemporary interior styling by Luca Dini creates a bright and airy ambiance throughout, with plenty of windows to provide panoramic views. Other features of the yacht include an open-air beach club with a plunge pool and hydraulic wings, a second swimming pool on the foredeck bordered by fixed sun pads, and a convertible gym area on the lower deck. The completed second hull is expected to reach a top speed of 15 knots and is scheduled to be delivered in June 2025.

Aegean Yacht Unveils White Island, a 39m Sailing Yacht
Bodrum-based shipyard Aegean Yacht has recently completed the construction of their latest masterpiece, a 39-metre sailing yacht named White Island. The vessel, which was sold and established in September 2021, is set to be delivered later this year.This custom build, measuring 261 gross tons, showcases an exquisite blend of steel construction, oak interior, and aluminum masts. Every aspect of the yacht's design, including the concept, layout, naval architecture, marine engineering, and both exterior and interior design, was carefully crafted by the skilled team at Aegean Yacht.
The White Island yacht boasts remarkable interior features, such as the extensive windows in the saloon, the elegant natural oak paneling, and the meticulous leather detailing throughout. Offering comfortable and luxurious accommodations, the yacht includes a master suite, three VIP suites, one twin guest cabin, and ample space for a crew of six. Powered by two 600-horsepower MAN engines, White Island is capable of achieving a speed of 13 knots, ensuring a smooth and efficient sailing experience. It is worth mentioning that Aegean Yacht currently has three other tremendous superyacht projects under construction, one of which is the 37.3-metre Project Tempest, eagerly awaited by yacht enthusiasts around the world.
