Sincasa: From Rome to Bodrum
A Creative Dream Born in Rome
In the heart of Rome, three lifelong friends, Yaz Yüceil, Ali Ersoy, and Osman Pekin turned their shared vision into something greater than the sum of its parts: Sincasa Roma. What began as a gathering place for food, music, and art quickly evolved into something more, a creative movement rooted in friendship, spontaneity, and cultural exchange.
Since launching in 2022, Sincasa has been about flow, not form. Less a fixed venue, more a multidisciplinary crew, the collective curates events, media, and music that reflect their evolving aesthetic and deep connection to community.
From Nomads to Homebodies: The Meaning Behind ‘Sincasa’
Blending the Latin “sin” and Italian “casa,” Sincasa means, quite literally, “without a home”, a nod to the friends’ early nomadic months in Rome, moving from place to place. This inner-city wandering, far from being a setback, became the foundation and metaphor of their bond and the driving idea behind the collective: that home is defined not by a physical space but by the people and experiences shared.
Once they finally found a spot to settle, the Sincasa crew began hosting a series of distinctive events that quickly drew a loyal following, often in unconventional spaces like church gardens and courtyards. As momentum grew, so did the team: Yaz’s wife, Alice Fowler — a producer, model, and chef — along with Ali Uras, played key roles in elevating the concept to a new level. Australian photographer Finn O’Hanlon also joined, bringing a visual sensibility that continues to shape Sincasa’s evolving aesthetic.

Bringing the Vibe to Bodrum: The Ritmo Zeytino Residency
In summer 2024, Sincasa took their concept on the road to Ritmo Zeytino in Yalıkavak, Bodrum. This dreamy collaboration with the team behind Arkestra, the Michelin-starred restaurant and listening bar that helped define Istanbul’s new-wave culinary scene, was short but unforgettable. It captured the energy and spontaneity of both collectives in a setting made for long dinners, late music, and sea air.
Although Ritmo Zeytino has since closed its doors, the energy lingers. The season left a lasting impression, on both the crew and Bodrum itself, and laid the groundwork for what comes next.
Summer 2025: Back with a Bang
Now, as summer 2025 unfolds, Sincasa returns to Bodrum to kick off the season with two special gatherings. The first takes place on June 21, celebrating the Summer Solstice at Lucca Beach—an evening of sound, connection, and movement by the sea. Just a few days later, on June 24, the crew heads to WU Yalıkavak to continue the celebration under the stars, in true Sincasa style.
They’ll be back again on August 8 at Lucca Beach, followed by an unforgettable night at WU Yalıkavak on August 10. Don’t miss the chance to experience their vibrant atmosphere at two of Bodrum’s most iconic venues.
