Today’s Mini Donkey retains much of its original disposition: curious, steady, endlessly endearing. Averaging around 86cm tall (91cm is the official cutoff for “Miniature” status), and weighing between 90–158 kg, these creatures are built like scaled-down workhorses. Their hooves often angle outward, a “cow-hocked” stance inherited from draft ancestry that helps distribute weight more evenly.
