Materials and Craftsmanship
AnatolianCraft’s commitment to quality begins with its materials, all locally and ethically sourced. The soles, insoles, and linings of the slippers and mules are crafted from genuine leather, ensuring durability and comfort. The embroidered surfaces of the shoes and bags are made from velvet or Kutnu fabric—a natural blend of cotton and pure silk. This luxurious fabric, historically used in Ottoman-era kaftans, is woven by artisans in Gaziantep, Türkiye, maintaining centuries-old techniques. Design Philosophy
Every AnatolianCraft design is the brainchild of Bilge Can, who combines her architectural expertise with a lifelong passion for embroidery. Production Process

The production process is labor-intensive, requiring 7 to 20 working days depending on the design's complexity. Each shoe involves multiple artisans—an embroidery artisan creates the fabric section, a master shoemaker crafts the leather soles, and another specialist assembles the uppers. The final product is shaped using special molds, ensuring a perfect fit and sophisticated finish.
